Abstract(in English) All-optical clock recovery with less sensitivity to the wavelength and the polarization of input data signals and operating without an optical filter to eliminate the input data signals were proposed using a monolithic mode-locked laser diode integrated with a tensile-strained MQW saturable absorber in polarization-diversity configuration. We also experimentally performed the all-optical 40Gbps clock recovery based on this new technique.
