Abstract(in English) In wireless sensor networks, many sensor nodes with such resource limitation as battery, communication, and computational capacities are deployed to monitor and gather information of environments. Therefore, gathering scheme of sensor information for energy consumption savings is necessary, and it is assumed that sensor nodes synchronize to intermittently communicate with each other only when they are active. In this paper, we propose a new synchronization scheme for gathering sensor information using chaotic pulse coupled neural networks. By simulation experiment, we compare the proposed scheme with previous synchronization scheme based on a pulse-coupled oscillator model to verify its effectiveness and discuss its development potential.
