Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A Brain Computer Interface (BCI) is the future generation man-machine interface which is expected as an attractive control method of a machine without human action of hands, legs, etc. BCI utilizes only human biological signals and may provide man-machine interface for aged generations and/or physically-disable persons. In this study, a brain directly connected control for a humanoid robot using the analysis of the fractal of electroencephalogram (EEG) signals and the Lyapunov analysis of near-infrared radiation spectroscopy (NIRS) signals are investigated the changes of chaos-fractal according to the tasks. Based on the results of these researches, the chaos-fractal properties and a possibility of an application into a robot control are investigated.
