Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a discrete-time neuron model generating oscillatory responses by periodic or non-periodic points with high order of period. When a discrete-time neuron model can generate a similar waveform of oscillations as observed in a system of differential equations, it has advantages against the continuous model, on an application of numerical processing, that is, we have higher reproducibility of responses as well as faster computational speed. By considering a coupled system of two chaotic neurons with an appropriate parameter setting, we show the observation of the objective oscillations, and investigate a mechanism of the generation of periodic points and their parameter regions through bifurcation analysis.
