Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, new techniques to efficiently manage highway traffic image data have received significant interests in the area of intelligent transport system. The issues that an integration system for highway traffic image data sources must face are due to several factors such as the variety and amount of data available, the representational heterogeneity of the data in the different sources, and the autonomy and differing capabilities of the sources. This paper is an effort to represent integration method of various highway traffic image data using proposed UML based data model and process, thus enabling highway traffic image data sharing and exchange through Internet. The advantages of using proposed UML based Object-Oriented model in transportation area are reusability and extensibility.
