Abstract(in English) A road map of short history and future prospect of the robot vision researches is presented, especially with a review on their geometry and photometry aspects. Some important milestones on the road map are picked up in the 40 years past and 40 years future of the developments of active vision of robots working in our human society. Here, we discuss about what must have been done in the past and what must be done in the future for the robot eyes to have equivalent ability of human eyes.
