Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A tabletop interface is suitable for cooperative work because participants can talk face-to-face. To improve the efficiency of the work in a tabletop environment, we have previously proposed and implemented a cooperative work support system that utilizes a tabletop as the cooperative, shard working space together with each participant's laptop PC environment functioning as a personal working space. In this paper, we propose 3D object comparison interface for cooperative modeling in our system. The proposed interface enables users to compare 3D objects intuitively and generate a new 3D object during discussion. We also discuss a prototype comparison interface implemented.
