3-D Posture Snapping of Fuzzy Planar Curves with Multi-Resolution Fuzzy Grid Snapping Technique

Abstract(in English) We have already proposed Multi-Resolution Fuzzy Grid Snapping (MFGS) technique which realizes effective snapping of fuzzy geometric curves in a 2-D sketch-based modeling system. We have also developed a 3-D version of sketch-based modeling interface, BlueGrotto, where, with just drawing gesture, a user can generate and align fuzzy geometric curves in 3-D virtual space. This paper newly proposes to apply MFGS technique to 3-D posture snapping of fuzzy planar curves to improve operability of the sketch-based interface in BlueGrotto.
