Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have proposed the distributed EM algorithm for localization in' sensor networks. In the proposed algorithm, we set the threshold on the received signal energy to choose the node subsets used for localization to improve the accracy. However, the optimal threshold depends on some parameters such as the number of sensor nodes and SNR. In this report, we show the threshold setting that does not need any prior knowledge about the parameters. We show that the proposed algorithm with the threshold set with no prior knoeledge has almost the same accuracy as that with the optimal threshold.
