Abstract(in English) | We discuss the development project on Next Generation Highly Efficient Network Technology, sponsored by New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), focusing on device technologies. Low-power/ high performance optical I/O technology, high speed laser diode technologies and integrated device technologies will be overviewed for realizing the next-generation 10gbps low-power edge routers and large capacity LAN-SAN systems. |
