Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to realize ultra low-latency mobile networks which provide real-time applications such as voice and video services, it is essential to satisfy both low-latency transmission and high transmission quality at the same time. Thus, it is important to investigate the relationship between the permissible transmission delay and the transmission quality under wireless channels. In this report, we present the theoretical derivation method of the IP packet error rate (PER) of SR-ARQ with limited retransmissions under simple time-invariant fading channels. Moreover, in order to investigate the effect of the time variation in realistic channels on the PER, the performance evaluation under time-variant fading channels is carried out by means of computer simulations.
