Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Multi-carrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) is a promising wireless access technique for next generation cellular communication systems that provide high speed data services. In MC-CDMA, multi-access is realized by using orthogonal spreading sequences. However, the transmission performance deteriorates due to the inter-code interference (ICI). ICI can be avoided by assigning a different set of subcarriers to a different user. Furthermore, the link capacity can be improved by adaptively allocating the subcarriers with a good channel condition to each user. In this paper, we propose the multi-carrier multi-access method which changes a spreading factor by according to the number of the users so as to use all subcarriers, and adaptive subcarrier allocation according to the ascending order of the signal-to-noise power ratio (SNR). Its downlink capacity is evaluated by computer simulation.
