Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a channel estimation method with ordered interference cancellation for a MIMO receiver using iterative equalization and decoding. In the iterative receiver, channel estimation can be performed in every iteration by using symbol estimates composed of extrinsic information from a soft-output decoder. In the MIMO case, however, data sequences transmitted from each transmit antenna are not always applicable to the iterative channel estimation because the transmitted data sequences may be not suitable for the channel estimation. The proposed channel estimation method performs ordered interference cancellation and then estimates the channel state information for a residual stream, reffering to a decoder output. Computer simulation confirms that the proposed method has excellent frame error rate performance.
