Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As networks become large-scale, we assume various communication services are deployed on networks, and the amount of data information distributed via networks becomes larger. In order to ensure stable operarions for systems provided communication services on large-scaled networks, it is important to establish schemes to acquire/monitor the huge amounts of data information, and to manage large-scaled network system resources. This paper presents a resource admission control scheme based on a feedback control law with the purposes of managing system resources effectively, and ensuring the stability of system processes. Furthermore, this paper introduces the application examples for a session admission control mechanism and a packet sampling mechanism, and demonstrates the effectiveness of the proposed scheme in simulation and prototype evaluations.
