| 抄録(和) | 私たちは、背景の色や模様によって見ている物の見え方が変わることをよく経験する。写真の中の人物が背景の色によっては不健康そうに見えたり、服を選ぶときにも、シャツとネクタイの色の調和を考えたりする。本研究は、この背景色の影響が見ているものに依存するのかを調べた。その結果、例えば楕円といった単純な図形より、楕円型をした顔といった具体的なものの方が背景色の影響を受けないことを明らかにした。これは背景色の影響が単純な対比効果では説明できないことを示唆している。 |
| 抄録(英) | We often experience the change in color appearance of object caused by the color of the background. For example, the person in the photograph looks healthy and sometimes unhealthy, depending on the background color, and on selection of ties we take into consideration color harmony with clothes. In this study, dependence of color appearance of a object on "what it is" is investigated. As a result, the background color effect in the case simple figure like ellipse was much larger than in the case of complex figure like elliptical face. This suggests that background color effect can not be explained by only the contrast effect. |
