Raman Gain Suppression in All-solid Photonic Bandgap Fiber

Abstract(in English) We propose Raman gain suppression using all-solid (solid-core) photonic bandgap fiber. We have demonstrated to suppress stimulated Raman scattering in high power laser delivery by employing the unique transmission spectrum of PBGF as a distributed filter. We have also shown that the all-solid PBGF had better filter properties in bend insensitivity and a filtering spectrum, compared to the filter fibers in early works.
