Abstract(in English) The number of aerial optical cables has increased rapidly because of the growth of the FTTH market. Therefore, a lot of optical drop cables are installed in one supporting wire, in general using a spiral hanger. During installing, because the optical drop cables are rubbed mutually in the same spiral hanger, the material of the sheath with both low friction and the abrasion resistance performance is demanded. For this reason, we newly developed the low friction and abrasion-resitant optical drop cables. Moreover, to make easy to pass through the conduit line, we also developed the super low friction optical indoor cables.
