Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Emission from a printed circuit board (PCB) with finite size becomes serious when common mode currents are excited on it. Such a common mode current may be occurred at discontinuity of a line or a ground on the PCB, or at a connection of conducting wire. In order to clarify the relation between a attached conducting wires and emission, the authors analyzed emission from PCB attached a conducting wire to any direction at a edge of the ground plane using finite difference time domain method. In this report, emission from a printed circuit board attached a linear conducting wire was examined. When a conducting wire with various lengths and various directions attached radiation was calculated by the FDTD method. And also, the emission was calculated when the dimension of the PCB was changed. The results showed that the radiation power increased, when the linear conducting wire was perpendicularly connected with the PCB and when the width of the PCB decreased. The validity of the analysis was shown by comparing measurement results with the numerical results.
