Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Conventional document-scoring for XML search have considered content and structure of XML documents to rank XML search results. Traditional IR has shown that in order to find accurate search results, both documents and queries need to be considered to rank search results. In this paper, we propose a novel method for content-and-structure scoring in the vector space model, considering not only document condition but also query one. Our experimental results show that our approach allows users to search XML fragments more accurately than previously proposed approaches for XML information retrieval.
