Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) 3-D ERT is used to obtain high resolution image of the subsurface in the field of geotechnical and environmental problems. The recent advances in ERT technology made it possible to obtain a very high resolution image of the 3-D subsurface structures such as fault/fracture or cavities. In this paper, 3-D ERT was applied to understand the 3-D fracture system, which is crucial to understand hydrogeologic condition at the site. We also show an example where an empty tunnel was successfully imaged, which is quite difficult work in many cases. From these example, we could show that 3-D ERT is a very powerful to visualize the subsurface and can provide quantitative material property to examine subsurface condition
