Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Fitting an articulated model to a human body in images, many existing methods adopt iterative searching approach. This paper proposes a closed-form solution for the model fitting problem. Our method starts to fix poses of arms and legs from multiple-view images, and determines pose of waist and chest. This method has less computational efforts, and does not fall in a local minimum solution since it does not use any iterative search.
