A Study of video quality improvement for large scale video conference

Abstract(in English) Today, companies and organization are using IP based video conference system at an increasing pace. But in case of multipoint video conference, over dozens of endpoints, a few packets loss or delay causes many intraframe requests from endpoints. After that, video quality is degraded because of visual flicker. In this paper, we propose a new method to solve this problem. This method suppresses the video degradation to filter intraframe requests properly. We confirm that video quality are improved to implement multipoint video conference system which we are developing.
