Development of a Visualization Tool for Programming Education

Abstract(in English) With the rapid progress of ICT, more students need to study programming, but programming is difficult to beginners. In order to provide an effective learning environment to them, in this paper we propose a framework to realize the visualization for programming education by rich client technology. Under the framework, we have developed a web based visualization tool which can show how program runs and trace of both variables and functions synchronously. We also report the configuration and usage of the tool. Using it, users can observe the inner working of programs intuitively.
