Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Peer-to-peer (P2P) optical communication network is presently attracting much attention for the application of small-scale network. The authors proposed a network element fabricated by optoelectronics hardware based on the optical bistable devices with LED and PD. The element can compose a P2P self-organized optical network using optical nonlinearity. In this work, the authors have introduced a nonblocking communication method for P2P self-organized optical network using pseudorandom noise (PN) generated by a circuit which consists of exclusive-OR (XOR) and 3-stage-shift register circuit with D-flip-flops. We have also designed a switching circuit to control all the signals of communicators on the network passing through it, so that the nodes with the same input PN are to be linked. As a consequence, nonblocking photonic switching scheme for P2P self-organized optical concurrent communications network has been achieved
