Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The shapes of oval-billiard microcavities are defined by using the deformation parameter, whose phase space changes from fully chaotic to integrable via mixed. We tried to represent the lasing modes from the laser diode with these microcavities by using the ray dynamical model. The emission pattern shows a pronounced structure that strongly depends on the cavity shape. Comparing experimental results with numerical simulation ones for Fresnel billiards yields qualitatively good agreement for all geometries.
