Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In optical chaotic secure communications, the generation of high bandwidth chaotic carriers is essential to perform high data-bit-rate transmissions. In this study, we proposed bandwidth enhanced chaotic generator which consists of optical feedback induced chaotic semiconductor lasers with strongly optical injection. Based on the rate equations for the model, the chaotic carrier frequency is enhanced as much as three times more than that without bandwidth enhanced chaotic generator. Higher data-bit-rate communications have been also demonstrated numerically based on chaos synchronization using bandwidth-enhanced chaotic generators.
