Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In recent years, the feasibility of the personal identification using a footstep has been confirmed. Conventional researches on the personal footstep identification focused on the feature extraction from a footstep. It was shown that the method based on a DP matching and short term Fourier transformation gives the high accuracy for the walking footstep identification. However, these reseachers assume that the known starting points of footsteps are applied to extract footsteps. This paper presents the recognition method to ensure a real-time processing using the DP matching when the starting points of footsteps is not given. |
