Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A noise reduction system based on an adaptive line enhancer (ALE) and noise estimation filter (NEF) has been proposed in order to reduce both wideband and sinusoidal noise in noisy speech. However, the system cannot avoid increasing the computation load because of several adaptive filters. In this paper, the noise reduction system has the ALE with less the computation load is proposed. The tap coefficients for estimating the sinusoidal noise have the peak for each pitch period of sinusoidal noise.
