Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Rough set theory is a framework of approximating sets. It has recently been applied to kansei engineering and other application researches, since it is suitable to a basement for modelization of human cognition. In this paper, a method of handling not only the equivalence relationship but also the neighborhood relationship is considered by introducing an operation equivalent to opening in mathematical morphology, which is originally an image processing framework, into the rough set theory.
