Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the case of the conventional video reproduction system, a user must be looking at the display continuously using fast forward mode or fast rewind mode, if he wants to search his interesting point. To reduce the stress of the user, a new method for visualization of the audio signal is proposed. In this sound visualization system, the scale size of time axis needs to be defined. But there is no theoretical basis to make a decision on the scale size. Because the optimum length for the analysis differs on whether the target is speech or music, so we should execute processing by using different scale size simultaneously. In this paper, we introduce a new sound visualization method based on different time scale schemes.
