Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Position detection services of wireless terminal tend to be important in ubiquitous wireless communication systems. LCX (Leaky Coaxial Cable) is suitable for the communication in the place where the electric wave of GPS such as underground shopping centers doesn't reach. The position tracking by TOA(Time Of Arrival) and RSSI(Received Signal Strength Indicator) that uses LCX is proposed. However, position detection error is large. In this report, we think that the factor of position detection error is RSSI, examine the tendency to electric wave strength by the experiment, and consider the factor of the positional detection error. Moreover, we simulate the distribution of the electric field radiated from LCX, and evaluate it compared with the experiment.
