Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we shall present the asymptotic analysis method for the ground wave propagation over land-to-sea mixed-paths which uses the equivalent current source on an aperture plane. By using the saddle point technique applicable uniformly as the saddle point approaches the end point, we shall derive the asymptotic solution from the integral representation for the ground wave propagation obtained by using the equivalent current source on the aperture plane. We will confirm the validity of the asymptotic solution by comparing both with the conventional mixed-path theory and with the experimental results performed in Chiba Prefecture and the Tokyo bay.
