Abstract(in English) Hybrid Fiber Coaxial (HFC) becomes very familiar in Optical Cable Television Network. In recent years, the number of Cable Television systems are being introduced Fiber To The Home (FTTH) systems. Regulations for Enforcement of the Cable Television Broadcast Law, etc. are already regulated for the FTTH in Optical Cable Television Network. Japan Cable Television Engineering Association (JCTEA) has published the standard STD-014 "Optical Network and using Equipments for FTTH Cable Television System". A technical trend of Optical Cable Television Networks is described including advanced infrastructure working group report of Japan Cable Telecommunications Association (JCTA).
