Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) PANAMA is a pseudo-random number generator proposed by Daemen and Clapp in 1998. PANAMA is designed to achieve high performance, and the throughput is twice as fast as that of AES. On the other hand, the size optimized implementation in hardware circuit is larger than AES. In this article, we consider the hardware oriented (size optimized) design of a pseudo-random number generator based on PANAMA structure. The algorithms proposed in this article is small, its implementation takes only 4k gates. In addition, we confirmded that those algorithms have a good security against a linear distingishing attack.
