Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A trihedral corner reflector is often used for polarimetric calibration, since the scattering property of a trihedral corner reflector is well known. However, that property is calculated by both high frequency approximation and the assumption that incident angle and the symmetric axis of a trihedral corner reflector are the same. When these conditions are not satisfied, precise polarimetric calibration can't be accurate. So, we investigated frequency dependency, polarimetric scattering property and incident angle dependency of a trihedral corner reflector by method of moment to know the condition for precise polarimetric calibration. From the result, the resonance of the scattering electric field was observed as the size to the wavelength change. And also, it is found that 5 degree deviation of incident wave from symmetry axis to azimuth direction and 4 degree to range direction are acceptable for precise polarimetric calibration when the reflector size is 7.5 times larger than the wavelength.
