Evaluation of Physical Properties of Phthalocyanine Thin Films Prepared by Vacuum Evaporation Technique Using Displacement Current Method

Abstract(in English) We have investigated the vacuum-evaporated thin films of phthalocyanine using displacement current method. We used metal-free phthalocyanine (H_2Pc). We have prepared two kinds of specimens. One is the specimen with a passivation film. The other is the specimen without a passivation film. The passivation films were prepared by casting toluene solution containing 3 [wt.%] polystyrene. The relation between the carrier transfer characteristics and the atmosphere has been examined. As a result, it is found that there are many traps in the specimen without the passivation film, whereas there are little traps in the specimen with the passivation film.
