Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The electrophoretic deposition of a fluorene-based conjugated polymer, poly[(9,9-dioctyl-2,7-divinylene-fluorenylene)-alt-{2-methoxy-5-(2-ethylhexyloxy)-1,4-phenylene}] is reported. It has been found that the morphology of the resultant film strongly depends on the good/poor solvent ratio of the suspension. That is, the film deposited from a suspension with more good solvent tends to be smoother. It has also been found that the suspension containing 60% of good solvent can also be used for the electrophoretic deposition.
