Abstract(in English) GUI(Graphical User Interface) released the user from the burden to remember computer instruction commands. The next generation of GUI is called Post GUI. Post GUI integrates speech recognition/synthesis technology, image recognition technology and perceptual understanding technology into the natural communication environment. The verbal channel but also the nonverbal channel are essential to the clear and smooth communication environment. This paper describes a new Motion Based Interface as a Post GUI. The Motion Based Interface adds a motion channel to the communication environment as a new nonverbal channel. A motion channel is realized by a new input device Motion Processor which detects the object from the complicated background in real time.
