Abstract(in English) | A new type of the equiripple FIR half-band filter is proposed for the quantization input. The proposed filter has a flat part in the transition band. SNR of the proposed filter becomes higher than that of the conventional filter when filter order is high. A theoretical expression for the SNR is derived when half-band filter is applied to the interpolation filter. The calculations of theoretical values and simulations are done to evaluate SNR. The upper value of improvement of SNR is also calculated, and the conditions for the upper values are shown. |
