Abstract(in English) We present a new dynamic bandwidth management method for ATM based on the bandwidth negotiation during the session. This mechanism allows users to obtain the bandwidth based on user's required QoS and enables to sufficiently utilize the bandwidth fairly sharing among users. In this paper, we treat this method suitable to local area networks, and estimate the performance and obtained service qualities of our proposed methods.
