Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a new adaptive interference canceller using Blind Viterbi Algorithm, which suppress the degradation due to co-channel interference in mobile radio communication. This canceller is the extended one of the adaptive interference canceller, which makes the maximum likelihood sequence estimation of transmitted signals by using a difference between received signals and this estimation. Information of interference training signals is not necessary for this scheme, since it simultaneously estimates the channel impulse response and the training signals by a combination of RLS and the Viterbi algorithm. A computer simulation for Rayleigh fading with single interference in 40kb/s QDPSK transmission shows that this canceller operates in less CIR than 0dB.
