Abstract(in English) In order to develop the public address system that can reinforce the source signal without any degradation in sound localization, the precedence effect must be investigated with the sound sources located in the median plane. In this report, the sound sources were located in the median plane, and the experiments were conducted examining the relation of the perceived sound image generated by the sound sources to the time delay between the sound sources. For comparison, the experiment changing the azimuth of the sound sources was also carried out. The precedence effect was not clearly observed for the conditions of the experiments executed.
