Application of TCP Pacing to Optical Packet Network with Fiber Delay Line Buffers

Abstract(in English) This paper evaluates application of TCP Pacing to optical packet network with Fiber Delay Line (FDL) buffers. It's noted that application of TCP Pacing to very small buffers realize high link utilization. We found that application of TCP Pacing to optical packet network with FDL buffers can reduce packet collisions at input of FDL, keep packet order and give fair shares among paced flows and non-paced flows.
