| 抄録(和) | 体表上に6つの振動モータをつけ,その振動から点字を伝える体表点字のシステムを開発している.6つの振動モータによる振動パターンの読み取りについて解析を行った.点字1マスを3ブロックにわけて呈示する方式では,振動時間を長くするとほぼ100%の正答率が得られた.3ブロック方式では1回の振動呈示で振動子の振動数は最大2個であるということに着目して,2つの振動子で体表点字を伝えられる呈示方法を考案した.振動パターン読み取り実験を行い,高い正答率が得られた.しかし振動時間を長くしても正答率が向上しない場合があり,実用上大きな制約となる.この問題に対し,振動時間を半減し振動を同時から継時にすることで正答率を向上させられることが判明した. |
| 抄録(英) | We have been developing "Body-Braille" which presents Braille data using 6 micro vibrators on the surface of the any parts of the body. We analyzed the reading characteristic of the vibration pattern by six vibrators. We found that a method of the presentation dividing a Braille cell into three (the three block mode) obtained the correct answer rate of almost 100% when the vibration period was appropriate. At the three block mode, the vibration number of vibrators is two or less. We paid attention to this feature and we designed the presentation method for Body-Braille using two vibrators. We made experiment of reading the pattern of Braille and then we obtained high collect answer rate. However, there were cases where the correct answer rate doesn't improve even if vibration period was lengthened. As the solution of this problem, we devised the appropriate presentation method which made the vibration period a half, and changed a simultaneous vibration into a continuous one. We were able to improve the correct answer rate by this presentation method. |
