Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To increase the transmission rate without expanding the required frequency bandwidth, multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) multiplexing has been attracting much attention. We recently proposed iterative signal detection method which uses the symbol-wise results of cyclic redundancy check (CRC) decoding to improve the transmission performance (hereafter symbol-wise iterative modified QRD-M). When a bit random interleaver is used within the packet frame to obtain the time-frequency diversity gain, one data symbol to be transmitted is composed of bits belonging to different data packets. Based on this observation, in this paper, we propose to use bit-by-bit error detection results in the iterative modified QRD-M to further improve the transmission performance.
