Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Tunneling conductance through organic molecules has been investigated. For the molecules which has a wide gap between HOMO and LUMO. In this case, molecular polarization plays an important role for molecular imaging. On the other hand, when the orbitals of organic molecules hybridize with the surface electronic states. These results would provide the essential data for imaging and tunneling process of organic molecules.
