Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Optical properties in molecularly doped polymer (MDP) of a bisstyrylbenzene derivative and its isomers molecularly doped in polycarbonate have been studied by time-resolved photoluminescence (PL), site-selective excitation and electroabsorption measurements. The PL decay exhibits the non-exponential decay at high concentration of MDP, because of the bimolecule recombination of singlet excitons. The site-selective excitation shows hat the Stokes shifts of para-, meta- and ortho-isomers are 42meV, 74meV and 93meV respectively. In addition the electroabsorption measurement indicate that CT excitons are formed even at low concentrations of meta- and ortho-isomers.
