Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this talk, I will review measurement and analysis methods with MEG and fMRI, and experiments with priming paradigms to investigate neural activations related to processing visually-presented words. It is known that visual-form, phonological, and semantic processes are carried out in relation to the lexicon. Our results show that the lexico-semantic access begins within 200ms from the presentation of words, activations in the temporal and frontal areas related to the lexical processes are affected by the context based on preceding information, and semantic ambiguity is resolved by the content in the frontal areas.
