Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose an interactive volume visualization method that enables real-time visualization on World Wide Web collaboration environments. The client program performs a high-speed display of polygonal data and volumetric data utilizing GPU on commodity PCs. Besides, through the WWW portal, clients communicate with the visualization service that performs Level-of-Detail adjustment by the FWT, and renders high quality result images. The client program renders and displays reduced data during user operation, and receives high quality image generated by the visualization service when no operation performs. Therefore our method manages both interactive and high quality visualization on the WWW collaboration environment.
