Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to reduce the replication time of holographic ROMs, we propose a high-speed replication system using a photorefractive amplifier (PRA). Our system enables high-speed replication of holographic ROMs by amplification of rather weak beams diffracted from a master medium with a PRA. We show that our system allows high-speed replication of holographic ROMs, compared with the other copy systems. Our system has the problem that diffraction efficiency of copy holograms at each spot is not equal because gain given by a PRA depends on the incident beam angle. We can equalize diffraction efficiency of copy holograms by adjusting diffraction efficiency of master holograms.
